CMS operate data centre based services from two state of the art data centres located in central Manchester and London docklands.  These facilities offer the level of specification that any business would expect from a world class facility.  At both locations these include:

Power

• Minimum N+1 redundancy on all power supplies and UPS equipment
• Diverse A&B supply
• Generator backups with onsite fuel and 24x7 fuel delivery callout contracts in place
• Independent PDUs into each rack, with dual power supply equipment split across PDUs
• 100% availability on power supply

Fire Protection

• Fire detection system in all areas (smoke and heat)
• Very early smoke detection and alarm system (VESDA)
• Gas suppression system

Cooling

• Minimum N+1 resilience on cooling system
• Temperature maintained at 22°C (+/-2°C)
• Humidity range of 50% (+/-10%)

Security

• 24x7 on site security
• Swipe access system requiring pre authorisation for data centre access
• Individually locked racks
