CMS Win Legal Battle To Become The Napthens Solicitors IT Outsource Partner

Napthens deliver a wide range of legal services to meet the needs of both businesses and individuals and have offices based throughout the North West of England.

The Outsource Agreement includes four key CMS services including:

  • CMS Managed Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering
  • the CMS Managed Service Desk facility
  • a new fully Managed Wide Area Network (WAN)
  • the CMS Managed Engineering Support.

The IaaS is delivered and managed 24x7x365 from the CMS Private Cloud utilising both our Manchester and London data centres, one as a failover facility for Disaster Recovery (DR) purposes. CMS Infrastructure as a Service allows all of Napthens applications to be available ‘on demand’ securely, with built in resilience from any web browser in the world.

The CMS Managed Service Desk take a much more pro-active approach to tackling IT issues and operates from 8.00am until midnight which covers the key working hours of the fee earners at Napthens.

The new WAN delivers much quicker, much more resilient connectivity to Napthens four offices in Preston, Blackpool, Chorley and Blackburn from the CMS data centre. The new service also delivers significant cost savings to the Napthens business compared to the out- going service. CMS also deliver field support services to all four Napthens offices and act as an extension of the Service Desk when a problem needs our ‘hands on’ approach.

This gives Napthens the comfort of knowing that we can attend site and support their staff with any challenge that may present itself over the course of the contract.
