CMS Technical Workshops

As an IT systems and support specialist, CMS Group regularly holds technical workshops on key IT issues for IT professionals.

The workshops are designed to give an overview on the technology options, followed by some insights based on our experience gained from implementing these solutions with our clients. The workshops are limited to 8 people and are normally held in the morning, lasting 2 / 3 hours.

This year's workshops will include Server Replication, Disaster Recovery, Centralisation, VM Ware and Hosting Services among other IT topics relevant to businesses.

The next workshop will focus on Server Replication covering:

• Snap Shot vs. Real Time byte level replication

• Server Failover

• Server Recovery Option (Also available as a bureau service with no capital outlay)

• Comparison of different technologies.
