The questions we hear most
Do we have to replace our documentation tool or PSA?
No. Strata integrates with Halo PSA - clients, sites, and users stay in sync - and existing documentation can be imported. Strata adds a strategic layer above the tools you already use; it doesn’t rip them out.
Where does our data live, and is it secure?
Strata’s primary data store is Microsoft Dataverse, governed by Entra ID inside a Microsoft environment. Nothing sits in a bespoke, separately-audited database - your existing Microsoft compliance posture extends to Strata by default.
Is Strata an extra cost?
No. There’s no separate licence and no per-seat platform fee. Strata is included as standard - it’s how CMS Group delivers managed service, not an add-on.
We already have several dashboards. Is this just another one?
It’s the one you keep. The Reporting surface pulls from Microsoft 365 Lighthouse, Inforcer, Huntress, SentinelOne, Meraki, and N-Central into a single view, so you stop logging into the others day to day.
How accurate is the AI - can we trust it?
Strata’s AI is grounded in live data through named endpoints; it summarises real records rather than generating from a training set. Where AI proposes data - such as catalogue enrichment - a person reviews and approves it before anything is written.
Aren’t we too small for a platform like this?
